The Stainless Steel Mini Vapor Pin® Sampling Device is for use in any setting. They are ideal with slabs as thin as 2 inches. The Stainless Steel Mini Vapor Pin® sampling device is installed in the flush-mount position after drilling only a 5/8-inch hole. The Mini Vapor Pins are sold as a complete set, which eliminates the need for separate covers. The Stainless Steel Mini Vapor Pin® sampling device is designed for permanent installation and cannot be removed and re-installed, they are constructed of anodized aluminum, making them very economical. Can be used for resampling. The FLX-VPTM Barb and Mini Vapor Pin® secure cover both have O-Rings for the seal.
SET INCLUDES: Stainless Steel Mini Vapor Pin® sampling device, FLX-VPTM Barb with O-ring, Silicone Sleeve, Mini Vapor Pin® Secure Cover with O-ring, and one Tygon Connector.
Drill a 5/8-inch (16mm) diameter hole through the slab and approximately 1-inch (25mm) into the underlying soil to form a void. Hole must be 5/8-inch (16mm) in diameter to ensure a seal. The drilled hole must be perpendicular to the slab for the mandatory Secure Cover to seat correctly. It is strongly recommended that the Mini-Vapor Pin® drilling guide be used for this purpose
