Brass Vapor Pin® Sampling Device
The Brass Vapor Pin® is best used for short-term or temporary soil-gas and vapor intrusion sampling events. It is ide3al for Phase II investigations, initial site screenings, or projects where sampling points will be installed and removed within a limited timeframe. Brass pins offer reliable performance at a lower cost, making them a practical choice for high-volume or preliminary assessments.
Stainless Steel Vapor Pin® Sampling Device
The Stainless Steel Vapor Pin® is best suited for long-term monitoring and permanent installations. Its corrosion-resistant construction makes it ideal for sites with aggressive soil conditions, moisture concerns, or repeated sampling events over time. This device is commonly used for regulatory compliance, mitigation system verification, and ongoing vapor intrusion monitoring programs.
FLX Vapor Pin® Sampling Device
The FLX Vapor Pin is best used in situations where flexibility and adaptability are required. Its design allows you to sample via a tubing connection or compression fittings. This matters due to some states/regulators having different preferences over how samples are collected.
Mini Vapor Pin® Sampling Device
The Mini Vapor Pin® is best used where slab thickness is limited or minimal disturbance is required. The Mini Vapor Pin® can be installed in concrete as two inches where as the normal Vapor Pin® requires four. The Mini Vapor Pin® also only requires one 5/8” drill bit for a flush mount installation.
